Apple & Date Syrup Spread consists of 100% fruit juice, is a source of fibre and is suitable for vegans. Many syrups contain beet sugar (sugar beet juice). Sugar beets are used to make granulated sugar and sugar cubes; it is a refined form of sugar, with no added value. Beet sugar is therefore not welcome in our Apple & Date Syrup Spread, because in our opinion this does not belong in a child's tummy.
